The one called Christina Aguilera perfume is described as a very feminine and seductive fragrance, components of which have a special meaning for the singer.
The parent company of this perfume is the luxury brand, Elizabeth Arden. Since 2007 they have partnered with so many famous singers and actors like Britney Spears, Elizabeth Taylor, Jennifer Aniston, Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, and many others. Sounds very intriguing, let's take a closer look at this perfume.
Christina Aguilera packaged her "Christina Aguilera" perfume in a curvy black bottle, that reminds me of a woman's body dimensions. This bottle shape is an allusion to Marilyn Monroe's body curves, and if you remember Marilyn inspired Christina's style back in 2007. The curves of the bottle are partially covered in black, delicate lace, this design was inspired by the dress Marcel Rochas created for Mae West. Beauty and elegance!
For starters, you will feel the strong notes of sweet tangerine and a little bit of blackcurrant. The heart notes of the perfume contain jasmine, vanilla, and peony, these notes are the most long-lasting and noticeable. In my opinion, the eponymous Christina Aguilera perfume was created for a mature woman, but not for younger ladies. It is definitely a night-out fragrance for a colder time of year, because of its potency and sweetness.
Final Thoughts
Even though it was launched in 2007 the fragrance is still available in different sizes with matching body care products – body lotion, bath gel, and deodorant. But, to tell the truth, I don’t think I will ever repurchase this fragrance, it is simply not my cup of tea. But the fact that it is one of the most popular teen fragrances around the entire globe made me want to try it. If you love sweet and mighty fragrances this scent was created for you.
